Dani Camacho is a Filipino-Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music instructor, born in Makati, Philippines, and now based in Vancouver, BC. She immigrated with her family at age 10 and purchased her first guitar, igniting a passion that would shape her life. She holds a Music Diploma from Capilano University (CAPU) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her music is an invitation into her inner world, serving as a form of healing and weaving together diary-like narratives with an alt-pop, folk, singer-songwriter musicality. ✨
Last year, Dani released her debut EP, “Impassioned Plea”: a collection of songs inspired by the people and memories she holds closest to her heart. Lead singles “baretto street” and “uphill climb” reflect on her journey, capturing the lessons that shaped who she is today, with her Filipino roots influencing both her stories and sound. Since 2022, she has been a songwriter for the Lullaby Project, helping mothers who have experienced loss or escaped violence turn their hopes and dreams into personalized lullabies. ❤️🩹
